This course builds on the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a pumper, including calculations, pump discharge pressure, elevation gain/loss, and water distribution systems.

  • Lesson 1: Theoretical Pressure Calculations
  • Lesson 2: Fireground Hydraulic Calculations
  • Lesson 3: Relay Pumping Operations
  • Lesson 4: Foam Equipment and Systems

Prerequisites

Must be an active member of the Manitoba Fire Service

Minimum Class 4 license (full) with air brake endorsement
