Course Description
This course provides fire fighters with the initial training of firefighting skills to meet their Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements. The course is a combination of theory and practical skills that are designed to expose students to the functions of a fire fighter and provide fire fighting exposure.

Active member of the Manitoba Fire Service
Physically and mentally capable of performing the functions of a fire fighter
*Please note: Hazardous Materials - Operations is a co-requisite to receive accredited seals for this course. This means that Hazardous Materials - Operations must be successfully completed before seals are issued for Fire Fighting Level I.
