Course Description

This course provides the knowledge and skills required to conduct high-angle rope rescue activities, including constructing single and multi-point anchor systems, constructing belay systems, rappelling, operate as a member of a low-angle rope rescue team and a high-angle rope rescue team, operate raising and lowering systems, prepare and package patients, and move them in the high-angle environment.

  • Lesson 8: Rope Access Rescue
  • Lesson 9: Highline Systems

Prerequisites

Must be comfortable working at elevated heights
