Course Description

This course represents the certification skills testing for Fire Fighting Level II. Candidates may be assessed on their ability to assume/transfer command, conduct advanced fire suppression operations, conduct fire and life safety initiatives as part of community risk reduction, assist in operations at a motor vehicle accident/special rescue application, and conduct fireground operations in a way that preserves investigatory evidence.

Prerequisites

Current Standard First Aid with CPR C (16 hrs)

Fire Fighting Level I (Certification/Seals)

Fire Fighting Level II - Enrollment

Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue Seminar

Physically and mentally capable of performing the functions of a fire fighter

Active member of the Manitoba Fire Service
